Makes 32
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ small red onion (finely chopped)
- ½ c bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- salt
- pepper
- ½ c currant jelly
Combine beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, and nutmeg; season with salt and pepper. Shape into 1″ balls and broil until cooked through, 5 to 6 minutes. In a large skillet, heat currant jelly; add the meatballs and toss to coat.
