The second recipe from Real Simple’s, ‘Start with Hot Chocolate’ does not disappoint. I love, love, love mint chocolate chip ice cream. I’ve even been known to melt it a tad in the microwave. Now I can skip that step! And adding cold ice cream to piping hot chocolate makes it drinkable in seconds. Genius!
Silly, Real Simple, suggesting the mint leave as garnishment. No messing around with that here. But I will mess around with topping this with whipped cream next time!
