BEST. COOKIES. EVER.

1) They are simple to make.
2) They are delicious.  My new favorite cookie.

As a few, we’ll call them Taste Testers, put it, this is the cookie with everything!  Hence I now refer to them as The Crazy Everything Cookies!

All of the ingredients you need to make Crispy’s Irresistible Peanut Butter Marbles!

I discovered these gems in the Old Fashioned Bake Sale recipe book that I picked up somewhere years ago.  What’s so old-fashioned about prepared cookie dough and mini M&Ms?  Yeah, I don’t know either.  But what I do know is, old-fashioned or not, I’m sure glad to have this awesome recipe.

Now while they are easy, they do come at a price.  (Isn’t there a some sort of wise quote about cutting corners or things coming easy but at a price? Insert that quote here.)  Prepared dough and mini M&Ms aren’t cheap. I whipped these up for a co-worker’s birthday.  If you remember I recently whipped up cupcakes for such an occasion, too.  The cupcake ingredients I had to purchase totaled less than $5.  The ingredients I had to purchase for these cookies were easily $10+.  So that’s a bummer, but they really are worth the splurge every now and then.

Crispy’s Irresistible Peanut Butter Marbles dough logs

If you were wondering about the log part of the recipe, you can see my dough logs above.  I would argue that instead of a log you should make more of a tube.  You know, like the tubes of cookie dough you purchase to make this recipe?  My cookies ended up really big.  Usually that’s an okay thing but these cookies really should be enjoyed in smaller portions so as not to overdose on awesome sugary deliciousness.  Oh and my batch made way under 5 dozen cookies.  I wish I’d had 5 dozen of those scrumptious morsels.  Maybe next time, when I take my own tube advice.

By they way, did I mention these cookies are the best?
