While on the never-ending hunt for delectable side dishes and ways to dress up vegetables, to have more healthier sides to choose from to round out a meal, I found this post by Lisa at Jersey Girl Cooks! The cheesy, crispiness over broccoli sounded unresistable. I couldn’t wait to try it.
And try it I did. However, the broccoli came out a little too crunchy for my liking. I’m not sure if I baked it too long, or not long enough. And if I give this recipe another go, I think I’ll go with the sharp cheddar next time instead of Parmesan. This dish has lots of flavor but not quite how I expected. And I really think it all comes down to the way the broccoli cooked (whether it was too long, not long enough, or just right and I simply am not a fan of baked broccoli).
